Our youngest Scouts take their very first steps into the adventure.
About the Lion Den
Lions are our youngest Cub Scouts, just starting kindergarten. Everything is brand new, so Lion dens keep things simple, playful, and hands-on.
A grown-up partner comes along to every meeting and outing, so it's really a program for the whole family. The goal at this age is simple: have fun, make friends, and discover that Scouting is an adventure.

Making friends
Learning to be part of a den — taking turns, sharing, and working together.
First taste of the outdoors
Short nature walks and park visits, noticing the animals and plants all around us.
First campfire & pack events
Joining the whole pack for songs, games, and a Scout’s very first campfire.
Simple crafts & building
Hands-on projects that spark creativity and build confidence.
Staying safe
Basic safety at home and outdoors, and knowing who to ask for help.
Doing your best
